Why DuePress exists

Somewhere along the way, sending an invoice started requiring a subscription. Another dashboard, another login, another $20–$65 a month — to move your billing data through someone else’s cloud. For people who already run a WordPress site, that never made sense. The site is there. The database is there. The domain your clients trust is there.

DuePress puts invoicing where your work already lives: create, send, and collect payment on professional invoices from wp-admin, with Stripe and Square built in.

Principles

• Your data, your server. Invoices, clients, payment history — in your WordPress database, exportable, yours. No vendor lock-in, no rented ledger.
• No per-invoice tax. You pay your payment processor and nothing else. The free plugin is genuinely complete — unlimited invoices, both gateways, deposits.
• WordPress-native, dependency-free. Pure PHP on WordPress APIs. No Composer, no vendor folder, no build step. It installs like a plugin should.
• Honest software. Features the free version has stay free. Pro adds automation for growing businesses — it doesn’t take hostages.

Who builds it
